August at AppFrod Camera Club
We have three very different photographic mornings coming up at AppFrod Camera Club this August, exploring local history, documenting our own lives, and a landscape beyond what our eyes can see.
All meetings are on Fridays at Connect Church, Ashby Road, Scunthorpe, DN16 1NR. We meet from 10.30am for tea, coffee and a chat, start at 11am and finish at 1pm.
Everyone is welcome – and feel free to bring a friend.
Friday 14 August 10:30 for 11AM Start – Steve Stubbings: Old Ashby
Steve returns to AppFrod with a photographic journey through the Ashby of years gone by, sharing images of its streets, shops, buildings and everyday life.

Friday 21 August 10:30 for 11AM – Don Stark: Documenting Our Own Lives for Future Heritage
Don talks about how he and his wife Yvonne use still photography, moving images and drones to record their lives together, creating a fascinating personal archive for the future.

Friday 28 August 10:30 for 11AM– David Jordan: Infrared Photography
David introduces us to infrared photography – a landscape we cannot see with our own eyes. He will also bring filters for members to try. We will begin the morning by judging our August ‘Landscape and Natural History’ Monthly Competition.
